Role Overview
We are looking for a Commercial Account Manager to drive sponsorship revenue growth and manage strategic brand partnerships. This role is responsible for developing, closing, and growing commercial agreements, while ensuring best-in-class execution and long-term sponsor satisfaction.
The ideal candidate combines strong sales capabilities with strategic account management skills, ensuring revenue generation, retention, and upselling opportunities within the Kings League ecosystem.
Main Responsibilities
Identify, prospect, and close new sponsorship and commercial partnership opportunities aligned with the Kings League brand and values.
Develop tailored commercial proposals highlighting brand integration opportunities, ROI, audience insights, and innovative activations.
Lead negotiations of sponsorship agreements, ensuring mutually beneficial terms and long-term partnerships.
Manage and grow a portfolio of accounts, focusing on retention, renewal, and upselling opportunities.
Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders within partner organizations.
Collaborate cross-functionally (Marketing, Content, Events, Operations) to ensure flawless execution of sponsorship activations.
Oversee activation delivery at sporting events and digital platforms, ensuring objectives, timelines, and budgets are met.
Track and analyze performance metrics, measuring ROI and delivering comprehensive post-campaign reports to partners.
Develop strategic commercial plans to maximize revenue opportunities across seasons and markets.
Stay up to date with industry trends, sponsorship innovations, and emerging brand integration models.
About you
Proven experience in sports sponsorship, partnerships, account management, or B2B commercial roles.
Strong track record in revenue generation, negotiation, and closing commercial deals.
Experience managing and growing client portfolios with a focus on retention and upselling.
Ability to build strategic, long-term relationships with brands and decision-makers.
Strong analytical skills, with experience presenting ROI, performance metrics, and commercial impact.
Excellent presentation and communication skills.
Highly results-oriented, proactive, and commercially driven.
Proficiency in CRM tools, Excel, and PowerPoint.
