About the Role

As a Content Editor at Kings League, you will manage, edit, and optimise content for Kingsleague.pro, ensuring high-quality, engaging, and brand-aligned content that resonates with our audience. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to apply SEO best practices, stay updated on trends specific to the Kings League, and maintain editorial standards. Your role will require a keen attention to detail to ensure consistency in tone, formatting, and branding, as well as the ability to analyse sports statistics for content generation. Availability to work during weekends will be necessary.

Main Responsibilities

• Edit and publish content on Kingsleague.pro, ensuring alignment with brand tone and style.
• Create and refine editorial and marketing writing to maintain engagement and relevance.
• Utilise CMS tools (e.g., WordPress, Contentful) for effective content management, while ensuring all content is polished for grammar, style, and adherence to brand guidelines.
• Stay updated on trends and audience expectations within the Kings League and related ecosystems, applying SEO best practices to enhance content visibility and reach.
• Collaborate with various teams to prioritise content needs and meet deadlines, contributing to content promotion strategies through social media while understanding key metrics and platform-specific tactics.
• Analyse sports statistics and extract insights to inform content creation.
• Perform basic image editing using graphic design tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Express), and familiarity with basic video editing or email marketing tools (e.g., Mailchimp) would be advantageous for enhancing multimedia content and audience engagement.
• Utilise analytics platforms (e.g., Google Analytics) to assess content performance, refining strategies based on data insights.

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a content editor, journalist, or writer in sports, entertainment, or a related field.
• Strong copywriting skills with a focus on both editorial and marketing content.
• Proficiency in CMS tools with hands-on experience in content management.
• Excellent editing skills, ensuring all content is grammatically correct and professionally presented.
