About the role:

As a Business Intelligence (BI) Analyst, you will be responsible for analyzing and interpreting complex data to provide actionable insights that help the organization make informed business decisions. This role involves collecting, processing, and analyzing data from various sources to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for business improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

• Data Collection and Management: Gather data from internal and external sources, ensuring accuracy and consistency. This may include working with databases, data warehouses, and cloud storage systems.

• Data Analysis: Analyze large datasets using statistical and analytical tools to uncover trends, patterns, and correlations.

• Reporting and Visualization: Create and deliver reports, dashboards, and data visualizations to communicate findings clearly to stakeholders, ensuring they are actionable and relevant.

• Business Insights: Collaborate with departments such as marketing, sales, and finance to understand business needs and provide insights that inform strategy and decision-making.

• Data Quality Assurance: Monitor data quality and ensure integrity across reporting systems. Identify and resolve data inconsistencies or discrepancies.

• Tools and Technologies: Use business intelligence tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Excel, SQL, etc.) to automate reporting processes and support data-driven decision-making.

• Continuous Improvement: Stay up-to-date with industry trends and new technologies to improve BI processes and methodologies.

Job Requirements:

• A degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Analytics, or a related field.
• Experience in a similar role, with a strong background in business intelligence, data analysis, and project management, ideally with exposure to various business domains (sales, marketing, finance).
• Experience with SQL and databases (e.g., MySQL, SQL Server, Oracle).
• Advanced Excel skills, including the ability to use functions, pivot tables, and data analysis tools.
• Proficiency in BI tools and technologies (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, SAP BI).
• Strong knowledge of data management, data mining, and statistical analysis techniques.
