ABOUT THE ROLE
As Travel & Logistics Manager – Global, you will oversee and manage all travel and logistics operations for the Kings League across international territories. This includes the movement of players, talent, staff, and equipment for events, activations, and content production across multiple markets. Based at our Barcelona HQ, you will work closely with internal teams and external vendors to ensure seamless travel experiences and cost-efficient logistical solutions across a fast-moving, global calendar.
Key Responsibilities:
- Global Travel Coordination: Manage all aspects of international and domestic travel for players, staff, creators, referees, and guests — including flights, hotels, visas, transportation, and travel insurance.
- Ground Operations and Logistics Management: Plan and execute the global movement of equipment and production materials for events, including shipping, customs handling, and local coordination.
- Vendor & Supplier Management: Build and maintain relationships with travel agencies, freight companies, logistics providers, and accommodation partners. Negotiate global contracts and service-level agreements.
- Cross-Departmental Collaboration: Work closely with Operations, Production, HR, Events, and Content teams to anticipate travel and logistics needs across multiple territories and timelines.
- Budget control: Monitor expenditures, optimize costs, and ensure financial transparency.
- Risk & Contingency Planning: Ensure all travel complies with local regulations and safety standards. Prepare for disruptions (e.g., delays, cancellations, strikes) and implement contingency plans.
- Compliance & Documentation: Ensure all necessary documentation is accurate and in place, including visas, customs paperwork, insurance, and health & safety compliance.
- Centralized Tracking & Reporting: Maintain up-to-date travel and logistics calendars, records, and KPIs. Provide timely reporting to internal stakeholders.
- On-Ground Support: When required, travel to key locations to support high-priority events, oversee logistical setup, or resolve critical issues.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in international travel and logistics coordination, ideally within the sports, entertainment, or media industry.
- Deep knowledge of global travel regulations, visa processes, and customs/import-export protocols.
- Experience managing large travel volumes and complex, multi-country itineraries.
- Fluent in English and Spanish. Additional languages are a plus.
- Excellent negotiation, organizational, and communication skills.
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities under pressure, with attention to detail and efficiency.
- Familiarity with logistics tracking systems, ERP tools, and travel booking platforms.
- Culturally aware and comfortable working across time zones and international markets.
- Willingness to travel internationally as needed.
