Commercial Director - Kings League Americas
We are looking for a Commercial Director to generate interest in Kings League digital assets in potential leads.
About the Kings League
Created and organized by Kosmos, the Kings League has become a global phenomenon that has revolutionized the way we understand football and sports. A new 7-a-side football league with teams chaired by the world's best streamers and content creators, with revolutionary rules aimed at uniting the best of football with the latest trends in esports and new ways of communicating and understanding the world. In this sense, the Kings League has not only managed to "reimagine the game," but has also elevated sport and entertainment to a new dimension, making it more accessible to all audiences.
Main Responsibilities
- Participate actively in the definition, development and implementation of the commercial strategy.
- Identify opportunities to attract new sponsorships and digital advertising deals through broad and deep market analysis.
- Capture sponsorships and digital advertising sales (including on-site activations, digital inventory, branded content, and media rights), by proactively contacting potential partners that complement existing alliances.
- Negotiate sponsorship, digital advertising space, and commercial alliance contracts in accordance with KOSMOS’ commercial strategy, maximizing profitability and strengthening brand positioning.
- Build and maintain excellent professional relationships with sponsors, advertisers, and stakeholders to offer a high-quality service and generate mutual loyalty.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team in the implementation of sponsorship and digital advertising contracts across events, broadcasts, and online platforms.
- Analyse the performance of commercial and digital activities using key metrics and ROI-based evaluations.
- Lead, manage, and develop a team of talented managers and specialists across sponsorships, media sales, and digital advertising
Requirements
- 10–15 years of experience in capturing and managing commercial agreements.
- Proven experience in sports sponsorships and digital advertising sales (CPM, CPA, branded content, media space sales).
- Proven track record in managing teams.
- A pragmatic approach, autonomous as well as collaborative, able to operate at a strategic level and roll up your sleeves for execution.
- Strong negotiation skills to secure mutually beneficial commercial alliances.
