ABOUT THE ROLE
As Marketing & Communications Director, you will lead brand growth, audience development, and communications across LATAM, with Mexico as a strategic growth market. You will be responsible for defining and executing integrated marketing, content, and communications strategies that drive fan engagement, commercial growth, and brand impact.
Key Responsibilities:
Marketing & Brand Leadership
Define and execute the LATAM marketing strategy, with a strong digital-first approach.
Translate global brand positioning into culturally relevant initiatives for Mexico and LATAM.
Identify key sports, entertainment, and cultural opportunities to maximize brand impact.
Communications & PR
Lead regional communications and PR strategy, ensuring alignment with global objectives.
Manage media relations, corporate messaging, and reputation management.
Oversee crisis communications and high-visibility issues.
Content, Community & Audience Growth
Define content and community strategies that drive fan engagement and audience growth.
Build and manage relationships with creators, influencers, and digital partners.
Use data and insights to optimize audience acquisition, engagement, and retention.
Commercial & Revenue Growth
Drive ticketing demand, attendance growth, and fan experience initiatives.
Lead merchandising and e-commerce strategies to maximize revenue opportunities.
Support commercial partnerships through integrated marketing campaigns.
Leadership & Performance
Build and lead a high-performing marketing and communications team.
Manage budgets and ensure efficient allocation of resources.
Measure performance and continuously optimize marketing effectiveness.
Qualifications:
8+ years of experience in marketing, communications, brand, or audience growth leadership roles.
Proven track record driving brand growth, audience engagement, and community building at scale.
Experience in sports, media, entertainment, digital platforms, or other consumer-facing industries.
Strong expertise in digital marketing, content ecosystems, and creator/influencer strategies.
Experience leading integrated marketing, communications, and PR initiatives.
Proven ability to lead high-performing teams in fast-paced environments.
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
Fluency in English and Spanish.
